Hello, Welcome to my site!

I am a painter, working in a variety of mediums. My work is rooted in close observation, but it lives somewhere between the natural world and a slightly more playful one. I paint animals not as symbols or specimens, but as personalities — creatures with opinions, moods, and a general suspicion that they know something we don't. I believe joy is a serious artistic pursuit. Through color, gesture, and the occasional raised eyebrow, I hope to invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and feel a little more connected in a world full of other living things.

Several of my watercolor paintings were accepted into the Power of Water show! It was at the Oak Ridge Art Center March 7-April 11!

New for 2025/2026, I was accepted into the Knoxville Watercolor Society, and am very excited to be a part of their group.
